“The Rape Allegation I Made Is Not True” – Nigerian TikToker, Mirabel Confesses

Nigerian TikToker, Mirabel has spoken out regarding the rape allegation she previously made in a viral video.

Recall that the content creator, with the username @mirab351 had, alleged that she was sexually assaulted by an unknown man at her residence in Ogun State.

She claimed that the alleged rapist inflicted an injury on her private part with a blade.

Her story generated reactions across social media, causing the Nigeria Police to swing into action.

Some netizens, however, expressed scepticism on the factuality of the allegation, stating that the stories were not adding up.

But the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, on Thursday said that the command was investigating the matter.

However, Mirabel, who opened up to social media activist and influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), said she had been into drugs and could be hallucinating.

The teenage boy who was shot by his landlord in Imo State for jumping into his house to retrieve a ball during a game of football on his school field has succumbed to his injuries. Paul died at the Specialist Hospital, Umuguma, Owerri barely 24 hours after undergoing surgery. Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has told the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to stay calm and steadfast as he continues efforts to secure his release. It was gathered that the governor visited the IPOB leader at the Sokoto Correctional Centre on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
