Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi has spoken candidly about her strained relationship with her mother, revealing that she is ready to forgive and move forward.

In an interview on Channels TV, Imisi reflected on the distance between her and her mother over the years.

She described their connection during her childhood as weak but said she holds no resentment now.

The reality TV star expressed understanding for the challenges her mother faced raising a child and said she believes forgiveness is possible.

Imisi also shared that while their relationship has been complicated, both of them are doing well in life. She added that she hopes her mother continues to seek guidance and support in her personal journey.

“She is my mom, and I’m a woman, I know the pain it takes to bring a child into this world. If God wills it… yeah, I can forgive her. I’ve forgiven people who aren’t even related to me, so of course I can forgive her.

“Growing up, we didn’t really have a strong relationship. But I don’t have anything against her. She’s doing well, and I’m doing well. Honestly, I don’t know. Maybe she should just be a better person. But she should keep praying the Lord is with her”, she said.

Their strained relationship gained public attention months after Imisi’s Big Brother Naija win, when videos surfaced of her mother accusing her of neglect.

Imisi explained that their issues existed long before her fame and that she has been supportive despite the difficulties.

Teenage Boy Shot By Landlord In Owerri While Attempting To Retrieve Football From His Compound Has Died

The teenage boy who was shot by his landlord in Imo State for jumping into his house to retrieve a ball during a game of football on his school field has succumbed to his injuries. Paul died at the Specialist Hospital, Umuguma, Owerri barely 24 hours after undergoing surgery. Paul’s guardian, Mr Jonathan Odikanwa, a septuagenarian told the newsmen that his ward passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 20, 2025. The 16-year-old student of Urban Secondary School in the Area N, World Bank Housing area of Owerri had jumped over his school fence to retrieve a ball that entered the yet-to-be-identified landlord’s premises on Monday. Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
