Music Executive, Soso Soberekon Offers ₦50 Million For Boxing Match Between Carter Efe And Portable

Nigerian music executive, Soso Soberekon has publicly offered ₦50 million to comedian and streamer, Oderhohwo Joseph Efe, popularly known as Carter Efe if he agrees to face controversial artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable in a celebrity boxing match.

The offer was made during a recent visit by Carter Efe and fellow entertainer Peller to the residence of Nigerian businessman, Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, where Soberekon stated he is willing to put the money “on the table” to make the proposed bout a reality.

In a video circulating online, Soberekon asked Carter Efe whether he would step into the ring with Portable.

Carter Efe responded positively, adding a playful yet competitive remark that he intends to ensure Portable “doesn’t leave the ring standing.”

The challenge seems poised to generate significant entertainment value, given the high-profile nature of both Carter Efe and Portable, who are widely known for their outspoken personalities, social media influence, and ability to command public attention.

Fans and followers have already begun speculating about the potential match, viewing it as a thrilling showdown in the growing trend of celebrity boxing matches.

Teenage Boy Shot By Landlord In Owerri While Attempting To Retrieve Football From His Compound Has Died

The teenage boy who was shot by his landlord in Imo State for jumping into his house to retrieve a ball during a game of football on his school field has succumbed to his injuries. Paul died at the Specialist Hospital, Umuguma, Owerri barely 24 hours after undergoing surgery.   Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
