DEATH RUMOUR: “They Took Picture Of My Head, Put It On A Body On Hospital Bed” – Veteran Nollywood Actor, Bob-Manuel Udokwu

Veteran Nollywood actor, Bob-Manuel Udokwu has broken the silence after false reports of his death circulated online.

He revealed that it was his children who first noticed the fake news before he did, and quickly informed him.

Speaking on the With Chude Podcast, Udokwu explained that the misleading report included a doctored image showing his head on another person’s body lying on a hospital bed.

The fabricated story claimed that he had passed away.

He said the image was created by taking some of his older photographs, editing them, and placing them on the body in the picture, then spreading the story as if it were real.

Udokwu expressed frustration over the situation but mentioned that his children advised him not to go to the police or the DSS to track down the origin of the false news, suggesting it would be better to ignore it rather than seek revenge.

He said: “My children were the ones who saw the news before I did, and they came to tell me about it.

“They took my head and placed it on a body lying on a hospital bed. They used some of my old photographs, pasted them in the right places, and wrote that I had died.

“My children, especially my daughter, told me not to go to the police or the DSS to find the person responsible and make them pay. They advised me to leave it alone.”
