Cross Okonkwo, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has officially married his fiancée in a legal ceremony.

The civil ceremony took place on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Federal Ministry of Interior in Lagos State.

Announcing the news on his Instagram page, the reality star and actor stated that today is an appointed date by God.

Sharing pictures from the event, he wrote “23/2/2026 A day the LORD has made. Mr & Mrs Okonkwo.”

Some of his colleagues including Phyna, White Money, Queen Mercy , Erica, Papaya Ex, Sheggz, Mercy Eke, and other Nigerian celebrities took to the comment section to congratulate him.

Teenage Boy Shot By Landlord In Owerri While Attempting To Retrieve Football From His Compound Has Died

The teenage boy who was shot by his landlord in Imo State for jumping into his house to retrieve a ball during a game of football on his school field has succumbed to his injuries. Paul died at the Specialist Hospital, Umuguma, Owerri barely 24 hours after undergoing surgery. Paul’s guardian, Mr Jonathan Odikanwa, a septuagenarian told the newsmen that his ward passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 20, 2025. The 16-year-old student of Urban Secondary School in the Area N, World Bank Housing area of Owerri had jumped over his school fence to retrieve a ball that entered the yet-to-be-identified landlord’s premises on Monday. However, the property owner got offended and shot Paul in the waist, leaving him to battle for his life at the hospital.   Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
