Israel And The U.S. Launch Attack On Iran

 

Israeli military have launched attack on Iran, with multiple explosions reported across Tehran.

It was gathered that a U.S. official informed it that the attacks were carried out as a joint military operation between Israel and the United States.

Iran’s state-affiliated Fars News Agency said several missiles hit University Street and the Jomhouri area in central Tehran, sending plumes of smoke into the air.

Semiofficial Tasnim News Agency also reported additional explosions in the Northern Seyyed Khandan district of the city.

Other Iranian media outlets said strikes were also recorded in parts of the country, including Ilam province in the West.

The U.S. President, Donald Trump confirmed that the operation was aimed at “eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime.”

“Short time ago, the U.S. military began major combat operation in Iran.

“Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating threats from the Iranian regime,” Trump said.

Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz on his part said the missile strikes were launched to “remove threats to the State of Israel.”
