Pastor Dies While Trying To Escape Bandits' Attack After Crusade In Makurdi

Francis Aduh Ojo, a pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has died in a car crash while attempting to flee a bandits’ attack.

The incident occurred on Thursday, February 12, 2026. 

His nephew, Abuh Richard Enemona, confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on Friday.

According to him, the pastor ran into the bandits during their operation and was trying to flee when he had accident and died instantly. 

“My Uncle was coming from Makurdi yesterday after a crusade and he ran into bandits operations and was trying to escape but had an accident and died immediately,” he wrote. 

"Until his death, he was a pastor serving in Dunamis church. Since morning my family and entire community was thrown into a heavy tears.

“Rest well uncle Pastor Abraham Francis Aduh Ojo.”
