South Africa international and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Jayden Adams has died at the age of 25.
The death of the midfielder was confirmed by Sunday World.
Adams recently made his 2026 FIFA World Cup debut for South Africa and played a key role in Mamelodi Sundowns’ successful CAF Champions League campaign.
His death comes just two weeks after he lost his grandmother, Marianna Adams.
Despite the personal loss, Adams featured for Bafana Bafana in their World Cup match against Czechia.
His professionalism during that difficult period earned widespread admiration.
