The names and photos of six United Capital Plc killed in the fire outbreak that rocked Afriland Towers in Lagos, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 have been released.
 
The organization released the photos and names via its X handle on September 22.
 
The organization gave the names of the deceased as Jesutoni Shodipo, Kehinde Adeoye, Ndidi Osaemedike-Okeke, Olumide Oyefodunrin, Opeyemi Oloyede, and Rebecca Adenuga.
 
The management described the loss as “immeasurable,” noting that the late employees were an integral part of the company and its family.
 
It added that preparations are underway for a memorial service to honour the lives of the departed staff and mark their passing “with dignity and solemnity.”

Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
