Lagos Hawker Who Shared Money To Prisoners In Traffic Graduates From Law School

Ekuma Jeremiah Iziogo, the Lagos traffic hawker who trended in 2022 after he was seen freely giving money to prisoners in a correctional vehicle is now a lawyer.

The young man's act of selflessness won him accolades three years ago.

Now he has graduated from law school after studying law.

Iziogo went viral three years ago when a 9-second video captured him offering cash to inmates from his roadside earnings.

Following the viral moment, prominent businessman Obi Cubana awarded Jeremiah a scholarship to study law.

Taking to his Instagram account on Monday, September 22, 2025, Jeremiah announced completing his law degree and shared his gratitude along with photos from his graduation.

“Today, a journey that started with little or no hope of crossing the finish line has come to an amazing end… A raw but naked hope of becoming a lawyer that I had. How the hope crashed and how I started again even in a bigger and better way through the invaluable support of the good people of Nigeria… It was five years of diverse experiences," he posted.
