Benue State Governor’s Aide, Terver Atu Joseph Found Alive Days After Abduction In Abuja

 


Terver Atu Joseph, Principal Special Assistant on Youth and Media Mobilization to Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Iormem Alia has been located days after being abducted in Abuja.

His wife announced the development on social media, sharing a photograph that showed Terver lying weak and bruised with the caption: “Praise to God who is Worthy of all Honour and Glory.”

The image shows he may have endured torture while in captivity.

Terver was seized earlier in the week under still-unclear circumstances.

According to his wife, he managed a brief distress call shortly after the incident, saying only, “I have been abducted, call mummy,” before communication was lost.

As of the time.of the report, neither the Benue State Government nor security agencies had issued an official statement explaining how he regained his freedom or whether any suspect has been arrested.
