Inibehe told the court that Ogunsanwo has been consistent in his court appearances, and that the current charge represents simple offences.
After listening to the submissions of the defence counsel which was not opposed by the prosecutor, the court granted the application and ruled that the defendant shall continue to enjoy his existing bail.
Ogunsanwo was first arrested by the Nigeria Police Force for alleged treason in December 2025 after he posted a video on TikTok calling on Nigerians not to allow policemen on stop and search duties to seize and search their mobile phones.
The case has been adjourned to the 17th day of December, 2025 for trial.
