Kidnapped Jowizaza’s Father And Reverend Sister Regain Freedom In Anambra State

The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed the release and safe return of the billionaire businessman Chief Sir Joseph Ezeokafor, father of Instagram influencer and socialite Jowizaza, alongside a Catholic reverend sister following their abduction in Awka.

Chief Joseph Ezeokafor was kidnapped on Tuesday, August 4, while traveling from his residence to a prayer ground in the Ifite-Awka area of the state capital.

In a statement on Thursday, the Command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, stated that security agencies are working to determine the circumstances surrounding their release and gather information to track down the perpetrators.

He noted that the Commissioner of Police, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, has ordered a joint manhunt involving the Police, Military, Department of State Services (DSS), and Civil Defence Corps to arrest the suspected group responsible for the crime.
