Nollywood Actor, Zubby Michael Declares For House Of Representatives Under ADC

Nollywood Actor, Azubuike Michael Egwu, popularly known as Zubby Michael, who recently picked up the African Democratic Congress (ADC), membership form has indicated interest in running for a House of Representatives seat for the Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency of Anambra State.

The actor declared his intention on Saturday after he joined the ADC in his hometown, Ozubulu ward 5, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of the state.

It was earlier gathered that Zubby Michael officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general election.

The move is coming when several celebrities from the South-East are moving into the ruling party to solicit support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The celebrities are leading the All Progressives Congress (APC), City Boy Movement in the region.

It was also gathered that Zubby Michael’s alignment with the opposition party may have a significant impact on the much anticipated general election, especially in Anambra State.

Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
