King Mitchy Cries Out As Lagos State Government Issues ₦12 Million Tax Notice Following Income Claims

 


Social media influencer and entrepreneur, Mukoro Ereremena Michelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, has expressed distress after being served a ₦12 million tax bill by the Lagos State Government.

The notice comes just months after the influencer made headlines for boasting about her high earnings. During a heated social media feud with Nigerian influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly VeryDarkMan, King Mitchy had claimed she earns at least ₦1 million daily from her restaurant business and additional income from various brand endorsement.

In a series of emotional posts on her Instagram story, King Mitchy shared a document detailing the tax assessment. She pleaded with the state government, explaining that despite her high revenue, a significant portion of her earnings goes toward charity work and supporting the less privileged in Lagos, leaving her with little personal profit.

The development has sparked a wave of reactions online, with many netizens suggesting that her previous public statements about her wealth likely drew the attention of tax authorities.
