Blord Finally Released From Kuje Prison After 20 Days
Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur, Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has finally been released from the Kuje Correctional Facility.
Blord was released after meeting his bail conditions on Monday evening.
It was gathered that on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, Blord was remanded in Kuje prison for impersonating the social media activist and influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM).
He spent 20 days behind bars.
It was also gathered that the cryptocurrency enterpreneur was granted bail and was also ordered to deposit his international passport as part of his bail conditions on Friday.
However, he was returned to prison after his passport could not arrive in Abuja from Anambra State on time.
Announcing Blord’s release, Human Rights activist and two-time presidential candidate under African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, on Monday evening, appreciated the public for their support.
Sharing a video of his release on his Instagram page, Sowore wrote: “Linus Williams, also known as @mrblordofficial, is finally out of Kuje Prison, and that outcome is a reminder that collective action can yield results. No one should be abandoned to unjust detention. No one shall be left behind. THANK YOU, EVERYONE.”
