Nicki Minaj Sues Nigerian Influencer, Dr Penking Over Cyberbullying

Trinidadian-born American rapper, Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, popularly known as Nicki Minaj has sued Nigerian influencer, Dr Penking, over alleged cyberbullying and copyright infringement.

The Nigerian social media influencer shared an old sizzling video of Minaj on X on Saturday, March 14, 2026, with the caption, “Nicki Minaj should understand that she has gotten old and retire.”

Reacting, Minaj queried if he had permission to use her video before using it to “harras” her.

She then informed him that he had been added to her lawsuit.

“Do you have permission to use this video that I filmed years ago to harras me on this or any platform? You’ve just been added to the suit,” she wrote.

Court Orders Nigerian Government To Serve Court Documents On Nnamdi Kanu Ahead Of Trial

  The Federal High Court in Abuja has given an order to the Federal Government.   It ordered the Federal Government to always serve Biafra agitator, Nnamdi Kanu with documents and materials intended to be submitted as exhibits before they are tendered in court.   Justice James Omotosho said such documents and materials must be front loaded and be made available to the defendant as required by law so as not to catch him unawares in the defense of terrorism charges filed against him.   The judge issued the order on Tuesday during the resumption of Kanu’s trial on terrorism charges.   Issues arose when the second prosecution witness (PW2), codenamed as PWBBB, testified that he was assigned by the Attorney General of the Federation to investigate Kanu.   He described Kanu as the operator of Radio Biafra and the founder of the Eastern Security Network (ESN). Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has told the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to stay calm and steadfast as he continues efforts to secure his release. It was gathered that the governor visited the IPOB leader at the Sokoto Correctional Centre on Sunday, November 30, 2025. This was disclosed on Sunday night in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma.
