Nigerian Singer, Peter Okoye Shuts Down Possibility Of P-Square Ever Reuniting

One half of the now-defunct music duo P-Square, Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has firmly dismissed any possibility of the group reuniting.

P-Square, which consisted of twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, rose to fame as one of Africa’s most successful music acts, celebrated for their electrifying stage performances, synchronized dance routines, and a string of hit songs that dominated the airwaves for years.

The duo first split in 2017 following internal disagreements that played out publicly, much to the disappointment of fans. After a prolonged period of tension and widely reported family disputes, the brothers reconciled in 2021, sparking excitement and hope for a lasting reunion.

However, the renewed partnership proved short-lived, as they reportedly fell out again in 2024 and have since returned to pursuing separate careers as solo artistes.

Reaffirming his stance, Peter recently responded to a fan on X (formerly Twitter) who asked about the possibility of P-Square coming back together.

In a brief but decisive reply, he wrote: “Not with me. Done and dusted.”

His statement has since generated widespread reactions online, with fans expressing mixed feelings—ranging from disappointment to acceptance—as it appears the door on a P-Square reunion may now be firmly closed.
