“I’ll Never Do It Again” – Popular Anambra-Based Native Doctor Begs For Leniency After Arrest

A Nnewi-based native doctor, Ikechukwu John Paul, popularly known as Aka Mmuo, De Young Chief Priest has appealed to Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo for pardon.

Following his arrest, the native doctor was on Friday taken by operatives of Agunechemba to the river where he allegedly performs rituals.

He was accused of performing rituals, including bathing internet fraudsters, Yahoo Boys to scam their victims.

Speaking after he was paraded by the local security operatives, Aka Mmuo begged the governor for forgiveness, stating that he will not indulge in such activities again.

He said, “I want to plead with our able governor, Professor Charles Soludo and all citizens of Anambra State. I didn’t know how the law works.

“I will never go to the River to make sacrifices again. I’m pleading with the governor and the Anambra government that there is a means of forgiveness, they should forgive me. I will never do it again.”

Court Orders Nigerian Government To Serve Court Documents On Nnamdi Kanu Ahead Of Trial

  The Federal High Court in Abuja has given an order to the Federal Government.   It ordered the Federal Government to always serve Biafra agitator, Nnamdi Kanu with documents and materials intended to be submitted as exhibits before they are tendered in court.   Justice James Omotosho said such documents and materials must be front loaded and be made available to the defendant as required by law so as not to catch him unawares in the defense of terrorism charges filed against him.   The judge issued the order on Tuesday during the resumption of Kanu’s trial on terrorism charges.   Issues arose when the second prosecution witness (PW2), codenamed as PWBBB, testified that he was assigned by the Attorney General of the Federation to investigate Kanu.   He described Kanu as the operator of Radio Biafra and the founder of the Eastern Security Network (ESN). Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has told the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to stay calm and steadfast as he continues efforts to secure his release. It was gathered that the governor visited the IPOB leader at the Sokoto Correctional Centre on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
