Nollywood Actor Shot Dead

The Nollywood industry has been thrown into a sad state of mourning following the demise of a promising actor Holiness Young Ngwongwo.

According to reports, the budding actor, who gained prominence from his famous role in Nollywood as a native doctor/chief priest, was allegedly murdered alongside a lady by assailants. The circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be known.

The actor has been described as one of the most talented acts featuring in epic movies and will be dearly missed for his good use of props and creative talent.

  Anambra native doctor, Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okoku Tiwara Aki n’Oba has been arraigned on five charges bordering on ritual practices, robbery conspiracy, and aiding internet fraudsters, commonly known as Yahoo boys. Nwangwu was arrested on Sunday, February 16, and his charges were officially presented at the Anambra State High Court on Tuesday, February 25, in a ruling delivered by Justice Onochie M. Anyachebelu. The case was brought against him by the Anambra State government, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
