Fast Rising Nigerian Rapper, Cameey Dies Of Cancer

Cameey, the upcoming Nigerian rapper, has died. The rapper whose real name was Joel Essoumam, has been battling Cancer of the Liver for some time. He passed away in the afternoon, August 22nd.

 He had been down with Hepatitis B which later degenerated into cancer of the liver. His management announced his passing on his IG page. Meanwhile his fans have taken to his IG page to express shock at the news of his demise.

Teenage Boy Shot By Landlord In Owerri While Attempting To Retrieve Football From His Compound Has Died

The teenage boy who was shot by his landlord in Imo State for jumping into his house to retrieve a ball during a game of football on his school field has succumbed to his injuries. Paul died at the Specialist Hospital, Umuguma, Owerri barely 24 hours after undergoing surgery. Paul’s guardian, Mr Jonathan Odikanwa, a septuagenarian told the newsmen that his ward passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 20, 2025. The 16-year-old student of Urban Secondary School in the Area N, World Bank Housing area of Owerri had jumped over his school fence to retrieve a ball that entered the yet-to-be-identified landlord’s premises on Monday. However, the property owner got offended and shot Paul in the waist, leaving him to battle for his life at the hospital. Nigerian Army Captures Notorious ESN Commander, Gentle De Yahoo

  Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta a.k.a Gentle De Yahoo, a notorious commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB's), armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN) has been captured.   His capture was confirmed on Tuesday by the Nigerian Army.   Troops of the 34 Artillery Brigade, in collaboration with other security agencies, apprehended Okorienta at his hideout in Aku-Ihube, Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State.   The military reported that the operation resulted in the seizure of a cache of weapons and other items, including an English pistol, 120 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, 25 rounds of 7.62mm NATO, a cartridge, six mobile phones, military and police uniforms, and a German flag.   Troops also uncovered a workshop used for dismantling stolen vehicles for resale and destroyed 10 motorcycles found at the scene.   Beyond the Imo operation, troops carried out coordinated missions in Adamawa, Katsina, and Kogi States, rescuing 11 kidnap victims.
