Kunle Afolayan's Movie "mokalik" Acquired By Netflix

Looks like they're not stopping there. At the French-Nigerian Cinema Days, which held from July 2-3 in Lagos, award-winning Nigerian director and producer, Kunle Afolayan, revealed that Netflix has acquired the rights to his acclaimed movie, Mokalik:
"I wish to inform you that Netflix has acquired Mokalik and some of my other films."
Mokalik follows a day in the life of 11-year-old Jaiye, who is sent by his parents to work at a mechanic workshop — in order to give him a different perspective on life. Singer-songwriter, Simi makes her acting debut as the daughter of a buka owner, whom Jaiye develops a crush on.
There is no set date yet for when Mokalik will be released on Netflix.
