6 Year Old South Korean YouTuber, Buys A Five-Storey Property Worth $8 Million

A six year-old YouTube star from South Korea has purchased a five-storey property in Seoul worth 9.5 billion Korean won ($8 million or over Rs 55 crore) earlier this year. Read that again if you may but it's true. Boram Ki has 30 million subscribers on YouTube and has garnered a humongous fan base.

The building that she purchased is located in the Seoul suburb of Gangnam. Citing a public real estate registration document, it was reported that the little YouTube star bought the property through the Boram Family Company, which was set up by her parents.
On YouTube, Boram has two accounts - on one of the channels, she reviews toys and has garnered 13.6 million subscribers for it. The other account is a blog with 17.6 million subscribers. 'Cooking Pororo Black Noodle' is one of Boram's videos that is extremely popular on YouTube as it has been viewed over 376 million times.
But not everybody seems to be pleased with Boram's videos. Several citizens in South Korea complained to an NGO, Save the Children, in 2017 about the content on Boram's YouTube channel, saying that it may have a negative impact on young children.
The NGO complained about the matter and said that the concern was raised after video clips on the YouTube channel showed Boram stealing money from her father's wallet. In another clip, Boram was seen driving cars on the street. After police was informed about the videos in question, the NGO said that they were taken down from YouTube.

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has confirmed his upcoming wedding to his partner, Chioma Rowland. According to reports on Tuesday Chioma and Davido’s traditional wedding is reportedly scheduled to take place in Lagos on June 25, 2024. Immigration Officer Bags 7-Year Jail Term Over Passport Fraud

  The  Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), has secured the conviction of Quadri Ismail Adeyinka, a staff of the Nigeria Immigration Service for committing travel passport fraud. ICPC  arraigned the convict before Justice Jude Onwuegbuzie of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Apo, Abuja, on a four-count charge bordering on gratification, conferment of corrupt advantage and cheating contrary to extant provisions of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act 2000 and the Penal Code Act. Counsel to ICPC, Dr Osuobeni Ekoi Akponimisingha, in the course of the trial, led evidence before the court on how Adeyinka defrauded Ovie Justice Ojeffia under the pretence of regularising the latter’s international passport. Adeyinka,  after receiving the sum of N100,000 from Ojeffia to regularise the said passport, reneged on their agreement. Veteran Nollywood Actress, Stella Ikwuegbu Is Dead

Nollywood has been plunged into mourning as veteran actress Stella Ikwuegbu passed away on Sunday.  A cloud of sorrow has therefore enveloped the Nigerian film industry as fellow actors, filmmakers, and fans grapple with the devastating news and reflect on Ikwuegbu’s immense contributions to Nollywood over the years. Movie producer Stanley Nwoko, also known as Stanley Ontop, announced on his Instagram page that the veteran actress has passed away.  According to his post, she died on Sunday, June 16, 2024.  He said, “Popular Nollywood actress/veteran Mrs stella ikwuegbu is dead. “The veteran Actress left this world today after battling with Leg cancer.
