National Assembly Gate Shut Against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan

Attempts by suspended Senator of Kogi state, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to resume legislative duties today was futile as the entrance of the National Assembly was shut against her on Tuesday 22nd of July, 2025.

Natasha had attempted to gain access into the assembly and resume duty.

Even with a judgement by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, she was denied access.

According to the lawmaker, the judgement, which was delivered recently in Abuja, ordered her resumption.

However, security operatives at the assembly gate, stopped her and her entourage from gaining access into the red chamber.

Senator Natasha had bagged a six-month suspension over her outburst at the chamber when her seating position was changed without her consent.
