Tehran Violates Ceasefire, Launches Ballistic Missile From Iran

Just hours after agreeing to a ceasefire, Tehran has reportedly violated the agreement.

This is as at least one ballistic missile was launched from Iran toward Israel on Tuesday evening, according to Israeli defense officials.

Preliminary assessments indicate that the missile was intercepted mid-air, and there are no immediate reports of impacts or injuries, the IDF said.

The incident occurred just hours after a bilateral ceasefire was brokered by the United States and Qatar, with both Israel and Iran publicly agreeing to halt hostilities following nearly two weeks of intense conflict.

The launch marks the first known breach of the truce and raises questions about Tehran’s commitment to the agreement.

Military officials are currently reviewing radar and satellite data to determine whether the launch was an isolated incident or part of a broader offensive.

There has been no official comment yet from Iran, and it remains unclear whether this was a rogue action or a deliberate act sanctioned by Iranian leadership.
