“Give Me Land For Ranching, Join Me Fight Enemies – Tinubu Tells Benue State Governor And Nigerians

Bola Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on the people of Benue State and Nigerians at large to stand together in the fight against forces undermining the country’s peace and development.

Tinubu made the call while urging Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia of Benue State to donate land that the Federal government will use for ranching.

He spoke in Makurdi, the state capital, during a meeting with stakeholders following the killings in the state by suspected herders.

According to Tinubu:

“Give me land for us to establish a ranch, we can shake off the backwardness but the key to this us look at our national anthem that we want to handover to the next generation a banner without stain.

“I have said it again that we are Nigerians as one family leaving in the same house but sleeping in different rooms, lets fight our enemies together and not fight each other. A human life is better than that of a cow.”

Over 200 people have been killed by suspected herders in Yelewata, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.

Alia had blamed the killings on suspected herders who are interested in lands.
