The Lagos State Police Command has issued an update regarding the ongoing investigation involving renowned cleric, Pastor Paul Adefarasin.

In a statement released on their social media page, the police clarified that the object resembling a gun that Adefarasin was seen holding in a viral video is not a lethal weapon or firearm, but a stun gun, which is classified as prohibited anti-riot equipment.

Additionally, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin stated that the cleric has been granted administrative bail while the investigation continues.

Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
