Police Arrest 25-Year-Old Man For Sodomising 12 Minors In Jigawa State

A 25-year-old man has been arrested by the Jigawa State Police Command for allegedly sodomising twelve minors in Basirka town, Gwaram Local Government Area of the state.

The spokesperson of the command, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, said the suspect confessed to have fled Zaria, Kaduna over the same offence.
 
“On 21/11/2024 at about 1700hrs, a complaint was received at Basirka Outstation that one Sani Abdullahi 'm' age 25yrs of Basirka town, Gwaram LGA, enticed one minor into his room and had carnal knowledge of him through his anus,” the statement read.
 
"During an investigation at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Dutse, the suspect confessed to the crime.
 
"He also state that he was persuaded to relocate from Zaria to his hometown Basirka for the same offence.
 
“Twelve (12) minors suspected of having been sodomized by the suspect were taken to Jigawa Sexual Assault Referral Center (SARC) Dutse for medical examination, where the doctor on duty confirmed that all twelve children had been penetrated through the anus.”
 
The PPRO added that the suspect would be arraigned in court and face the full force of the law.

  The  government in Equatorial Guinea has commenced a probe into hundreds of leaked pornographic videos allegedly involving high-ranking civil servant, Baltasar Engonga, having sex with various women, including wives of prominent officials in his office. The government has further ordered the installation of surveillance cameras in courts and ministries to combat “indecent and illicit acts.” It also announced that it was suspending officials involved in the scandal, according to a statement issued by the Equatorial Guinea Press and Information Office, published on the government’s website on Tuesday.   Ondo State Magistrate Court has remanded a 43-year-old clergyman, Paul Oyewole, for allegedly publishing his obituary on social media to evade the N3 million debt payment he owed one of his church members. Oyewole reportedly obtained the sum of N3m from Emmanuel Boyede, alleging that he would pay back the money within seven days. Police Prosecutor, Moremi Akao, told the court that the accused falsely published and posted his obituary on WhatsApp after sending a fake bank alert to his creditor.   The  jail cell of embattled Hip-hop mogul and record executive, Sean “Diddy” Combs' was allegedly raided by the Feds who took away “a bunch of privileged materials.” It was gathered that  Combs' lawyer claims investigators grabbed the disgraced music mogul's notes, which were meant for his legal team for an upcoming trial.
