BBNaija Star, Phyna Announces She Is Dropping Her Surname Because She Has 'No Family'

BBNaija Season 7 winner, Phyna Otabor has announced that she is officially dropping her surname.

The actress disclosed this on the X platform while stating that she has no family.

She stated that it's been rough with her lately over the shocking discoveries she made about her family.

She wrote: "I am publicly dropping my family surname OTABOR… it has been proven that I actually have no family and nobody knows how I came about…. I’m still searching for answers though… it’s been rough with me lately…… I’m in a place where I can’t even describe how I feel or what to call what I’m going through rn. Going up and the way I was toss around relative I should suspected but guess I was too young… omo my head wan tear!!!!!!"

Just last year, Phyna's father granted an interview where he alleged that his famous daughter doesn't pick their calls anymore.

American stand-up comedian and TV host, Rickey Smiley revealed that his 19-year-old daughter, Aaryn, was shot three times during a road incident in Houston, Texas over the weekend. The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), says veteran actor, Zack Orji underwent two successful brain surgeries. The national President of AGN, Emeka Rollas, who revealed this, said he is in good health. Ghanaian authorities have explained why they locked up some Nigerian-owned shops in the country amid an ongoing controversy about the Ghana Investment Promotion Council (GIPC) registration.   Recall LIB reported earlier that the requirement for GIPC registration is $1 million minimum foreign equity, while registration fee is 31,500 cedis.   Reacting to the controversy that has trailed the GIPC registration in an interview with Starr News, Boakye Boateng, the head of communications in the country’s trade ministry said it would be unfair for the Nigerian traders to complain of insensitivity.   He further alleged that the traders were pardoned for over a year following the intervention of President Nana Akufo-Addo.   Boateng said;    “It cannot be that we’ve been insensitive.
