Court Bars Nollywood Actress, Lizzy Anjorin From Publishing Photos And Content About Priscilla Ojo’s Family

Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, scored a legal victory over Nollywood actress, Lizzy Anjorin.

‎Priscilla and her Tanzanian husband who is a musician named Juma Mussa Mkambala, popularly known as Juma Jux, along with their one-year-old son, Rakeem Mkambala filed an application against Lizzy Anjorin following a series of attacks on their family.

‎On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, the High Court of Lagos State granted an interim order restraining the controversial actress from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading or broadcasting pictures of Priscilla and Juma Jux’s son, Rakeem Mkambala, on her social media platforms.

The presiding judge, Justice Y.A Adesanya, also barred Lizzy and any of her representatives from broadcasting, publishing and posting editorials concerning Priscilla and her family on their social media accounts listed in the court order.

‎This is undoubtedly a major victory for Priscilla, who has been receiving attacks from Lizzy Anjorin.

Lizzy has slammed Iyabo Ojo for attending Soso Soberekon’s wedding with her daughter, Priscilla. She claimed the actress is broke and poor, which is why she went to the ceremony with her daughter.

‎Hitting back at her, Priscilla stated that she is an adult and will not go to a place she isn’t invited to. She mentioned that she is building a case against Lizzy, who she described as mentally ill.

Clapping back, Lizzy made several allegations against the mother and daughter, claiming they wouldn’t succeed in any legal action against her. She also accused Iyabo and Priscilla of being behind certain social media activities against her, adding that she had more than 500 pieces of evidence against them.

Unlike Priscilla, her mother Iyabo Ojo couldn't get a legal victory over Lizzy Anjorin.

Iyabo Ojo threatened legal action against Lizzy Anjorin, demanding a public apology or risk paying ₦500 million for her libellous publication.

‎In 2024, a Lagos court dismissed the ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit Iyabo filed against Lizzy. Lizzy reacted to the news by slamming Iyabo.

The United States House Of Representatives Votes To Suspend 100% Aid To Nigeria Over Alleged Christian Persecution

  The Uni ted States House of Representatives has approved an amendment seeking to withhold 100 per cent of the U.S. assistance to Nigeria until the country takes stronger measures to address violence and alleged persecution of Christians. The amendment, sponsored by the U.S. Congressman Gregory Steube, was adopted through a voice vote on Wednesday and attached to the fiscal year 2027 State Department spending bill, which was later passed by the House by 217-209 votes, largely along party lines.
