Iyabo Ojo Ends Online Fight With VeryDarkMan

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has announced an end to her social media fight with controversial, self-acclaimed online activist VeryDarkMan.

Iyabo announced this in a post on her Instagram page on Thursday.

While declaring her decision to cease all further exchanges, the actress thanked her lover, Paulo, colleagues, fans and her family for their unwavering support.

She further emphasised her intention to ignore trolls and negativity, as she would be focusing on a more uplifting path.

She wrote: “Queen Mother: Unshakable, Unstoppable, undefeatable! I will continue to lend my voice when necessary. No amount of deceit, manipulation, lies or trolling, even with a trillion trolls, can silence me.

“To Obim, my wonderful children, friends, families, loved ones, fans, well-wishers, colleagues and my management team, I have heard your advice and message, which have boosted my confidence and resilience.

“I am committed to speaking the truth despite adversity. Thanks for the love and support, both public and private.

“I will take your advice and ignore the negativity, but I will never stop speaking when necessary. It is all about peace and love for now.”

  There are more burdens on Nigerians as Moniepoint, Opay and other Fintech banks and financial services have imposed fresh N50 charges known as Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), on customers. It was gathered that the customers of Moniepoint and Opay will start paying the charges from September 9, 2024, according to a recent notice by the banks. A  federal lawmaker representing the Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency in Edo State, Prince Henry Odianosen Okojie has reportedly escaped an assassination attempt. Okojie, the husband of the Nollywood movie Star, Mercy Johnson, was reportedly attacked by armed men suspected to be political thugs at his residence in Uromi on Friday morning.   A Nigerian nurse, identified as Ruth Auta has been sentenced to three years in jail for causing the death of her ten-week-old baby. The nurse was sentenced by Bolton Crown Court in the UK. It was gathered that the Nigerian woman left the deceased baby Joshua Akerele in her nurse's accommodation for eight hours so she could work her shift on December 20, 2022. The nurse was said to be a single mother, aged 28. When she returned to her room, she found Joshua lifeless in his cot and dialled 999, telling operators her son was not breathing.
