Ghanaian Socialite Shatta Bandle Apologizes To EFCC For Spraying Naira Notes

Popular Ghanaian socialite, Shatta Bandle has tendered a public apology to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for spraying naira notes in Nigeria.

This comes after his encounter with the EFCC over his public display of the naira currency when he visited the country for the funeral of Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu.

The small-sized celebrity showering naira notes in a viral video on the internet caught the attention of the authorities.

Shatta Bandle, who is now back in Ghana, however, issued an apology to the authorities, and Nigerians describing the country as his second home.

While expressing his respect for EFCC and the Nigerian laws, Shatta Bandle explained the reason for his actions.

It was gathered that the similar behaviour had previously resulted in the six months imprisonment of popular Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky.
