Davido Launches Own Social Media App

Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has launched his own social media application called Chatter.

Davido made the announcement in a now trending post on his official X handle on Friday.

The musician stated that he co-owns the application with his close friend, Sir Banko.

The music icon shared information about Chatter, a social audiovisual utility platform that connects content creators to a lively community and helps magnify their voices.

In the last eight months, Chatter has become Davido’s third internet project.

It was gathered that the musician a few months ago introduced his cryptocurrency called $DAVIDO coin which crashed days after it launched, prompting many cryptocurrency fans to call it a scam and a rug-pull.

A  federal lawmaker representing the Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency in Edo State, Prince Henry Odianosen Okojie has reportedly escaped an assassination attempt.   A Nigerian nurse, identified as Ruth Auta has been sentenced to three years in jail for causing the death of her ten-week-old baby. The nurse was sentenced by Bolton Crown Court in the UK. It was gathered that the Nigerian woman left the deceased baby Joshua Akerele in her nurse's accommodation for eight hours so she could work her shift on December 20, 2022. The nurse was said to be a single mother, aged 28. When she returned to her room, she found Joshua lifeless in his cot and dialled 999, telling operators her son was not breathing.
