“Sammie Okposo To Be Buried On December 15” - Family

Late Nigerian gospel singer, Sammie Okposo will be laid to rest on Thursday December 15, 2022 according to burial arrangements made available by the family.

Sammie Okposo died on Friday 25th of November, having lived for 51 years (1971-2022). He reportedly died in his sleep.

The six days event will begin with a farewell praise party on the 13th and end with a church outing on the 18th.

Sammie Okposo was also a music producer, psalmist, and CEO of Zamar Entertainment. He released his first album Addicted in 2004.

Sammie Okposo collaborated with many other artists in the gospel and soul music fields, he collaborated with popular gospel singer Marvellous Odiete on “Follow You”, performed regularly in Africa, Europe, and North America, and curated a series of concerts called SOPP (Sammie Okposo Praise Party). Sammie Okposo’s most recent album, The Statement (2018), was produced by the Grammy-winning Kevin Bond.

He became well-known for his genre of high-praise within and outside Nigeria and was a role model to a lot of gospel singer.

Comedian Rickey Smiley's 19-Year-Old Daughter Shot Three Times During A Road Incident In Houston

American stand-up comedian and TV host, Rickey Smiley revealed that his 19-year-old daughter, Aaryn, was shot three times during a road incident in Houston, Texas over the weekend. Speaking on his Rickey Smiley Morning Show" on Monday, July 6, an emotional Smiley said :  "I wasn’t even going to say anything about this. I’ve been dealing with this all morning, sitting up here with butterflies in my stomach trying to do the show. My youngest daughter was shot last night.   The  47th President of the United States of America, Donald Trump on Monday, January 20, signed an executive order vowing to end birthright citizenship in the U.S., despite a broad legal consensus that the Constitution guarantees American citizenship to everyone born on U.S. soil. Trump’s order directs federal agencies to refuse to recognize U.S. citizenship for children born in the U.S. to mothers who are in the country illegally or there legally on visas, if the father is not a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. A 30-year-old woman, Deveca Rose has been handed a 10-year jail term after her four sons died in a house fire after she locked them inside to go shopping at Sainsbury’s. Rose left her two sets of twins alone in the unsafe terraced house in Sutton, south-west London when the huge blaze broke out on the evening of December 16, 2021. Chinedu Nwowu, an Imo State-based lawyer, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Mgbidi, the Oru West Local Government Area of the state.
