[PHOTOS] NCAA Meets With Ibom Air Staff And Passenger, Comfort Emmanson

Ibom Air passenger, Comfort Emmanson has met with Mike Achimugu, the director of public affairs and consumer protection at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
 
Achimugu announced on Twitter that he also met with officials of Ibom Air for a conclusion to the ongoing investigation.
 
Writing on X, while sharing photos, he wrote:
 
"IBOM AIR INVESTIGATION:

Yesterday in Abuja, the NCAA team met with Julie Edwards and other members of the crew involved in the Comfort Emanson incident as part of investigations into that event.

The NCAA's directorates of Aviation Security; Operations, Licensing, and Training Standards; Legal; and Consumer Protection are collaborating to ensure a proper conclusion to this investigation.

Later today, Comfort Emmanson, the passenger, would be meeting with the Authority. She is being accompanied by her lawyer."

Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
