Nigerian rapper, Panshak Henry Zamani popularly known as Ice Prince has revealed one of his regrets.

According to the star, he regrets not settling his rift with South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes popularly known as AKA before his death.

Recall that the fallout began in 2019 between the duo after AKA’s comments about Nigerians during xenophobic attacks in South Africa, which led Ice Prince to publicly call him out.

Speaking on the G2G Podcast, Ice Prince reflected on their once-strong friendship and collaborations, expressing regret that they never reconciled before AKA was tragically shot dead outside a Durban restaurant on Friday 10th of February, 2023.

Ice Prince said, “I wish we got to speak about it [our misunderstanding] because we never. And it hurt me so bad because that’s my friend. AKA wasn’t just an artist that I collaborated with.

“He has been to my house in Lagos a couple of times. That’s my friend. It did hurt me that we never got to settle that misunderstanding.”

However, Ice Prince said he has found solace in prayer, revealing that he still sees AKA in his prayers and believes they’re at peace.

“But I have prayed about it so many times. I still see him in my prayers. Sometimes, when I’m praying I see him there. So, I know we are at peace. I know he looks out for me as one of my homeboys in heaven,” he expressed.
