Nollywood Actor, Gideon Okeke And Wife Split

Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke, and his wife have split. Okeke who didn’t reveal the reason for their split urged Nigerians to pray for his family.

The father of two, who confirmed the separation on Instagram, said the experience has humbled him.

“You wouldn’t believe it if I told you that I’m separated from my marriage right?

“No you wouldn’t. So grab a seat. It is in the interest of clarity and clear conscience that this becomes imperative. But yea…’breakfast reach me too. Las las’.

“It’s been a hard hot pill I’ve had to swallow and boy, it sure humbles one. This public service announcement wouldn’t be so important (to me), but for the trap that I find fame to be sometimes. Gagged.

“But as I look to the future. I pray for my boys. Such lovely boys. Please put us all in your prayers, no pity party.

“They need mum and dad sane, sound and strong for the fulfillment of their best interests and we are working towards it. Hard! I thank God. And I thank you for rooting for us. One life, many stories.”

  There are more burdens on Nigerians as Moniepoint, Opay and other Fintech banks and financial services have imposed fresh N50 charges known as Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), on customers. It was gathered that the customers of Moniepoint and Opay will start paying the charges from September 9, 2024, according to a recent notice by the banks. The new levy is in addition to the recent Premium Motor Spirit (Petrol) pump price hike to N855 and N897 by Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited retail outlets. The  development means Nigerians using Opay and Moniepoint will have to pay N50 charges for any electronic transactions of N10,000 and above. The Fintech companies blamed the charges on a directive from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).   The  Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has assured investors of the safety of Alaigbo, noting that South-east region is big and safe to accommodate their investments. Disclosing  this in a statement on Tuesday, Emma Powerful, the groups spokesman, advised Igbo businessmen and women to bring back their investments before they regret it. Of  recent, Igbos in Lagos and other states complain of governments policies and host communities’ attitudes that affect their respective businesses. These Igbos have been assured by the various governments of the safety of their businesses in their states. Yahoo Boy Bags 2-Year Jail Term For Impersonating Flavour N’abania, Defrauding US Citizen

  The  Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced one Courage Ikpaka to two years imprisonment for duping a United States citizen, Mrs Yvelte M. Thompson of $53,000 by impersonating Nigerian musician, Chinedu Okoli popularly known as Flavour N’abania. Justice   Dehinde Dipeolu convicted Ikpaka on Tuesday following his guilty plea to a two-count charge brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Prosecution counsel, Suleiman Suleiman, led EFCC investigator Azibagiri Dan Ekpar in evidence against the defendant. The witness told the court that Ikpaka impersonated Flavour by pledging to organise shows in the United States of America and receiving payment through his Bitcoin wallets. Award-winning cinematographer and music producer, ThankGod Omori popularly known as TG Omori, has revealed that he had a failed kidney transplant after his brother donated to him to improve his kidney-related ailment. Omori revealed this on Wednesday, shortly after disclosing that he was going through hell and that Nigerians should pray for him. Nollywood  actress, Sharon Okpamen, has reportedly passed on after childbirth. The Nollywood community has been thrown into mourning since the news of her demise broke out on the internet.
