BBNaija Season 3 Star, Rico Swavey Is Dead

The duo of BBNaija stars, Alex and Tobi Bakare have confirmed the death of their colleague, Rico Swavey, born Patrick Fakoya, who has been on a life support machines after a motor accident.

In separate tweets, Both Alex and Tobi Bakare confirmed the death. “This is not what we agreed Rico. Rest in peace, Alex tweeted.

Tobi shared a picture of himself and Rico, with the caption: “This is how I will remember you brother.”

After the accident Nigerian entertainers launched a fundraiser for the former housemate of Big Brother Naija, Patrick Fakoya, aka Rico Swavey.

His fellow BBNaija ex-housemate, Tobi Bakare, made the announcement on his Twitter page on Wednesday, as he asked the public for donations.

Sharing a picture of the hospitalized Rico Swavey on his Twitter page, Bakare also noted that the accident victim had been placed on life support.

Bakare tweeted, “Please help save Rico. He had a really bad car accident.

“We have to keep him on life support and continue to pay the rising medical bills while we pray for God’s miracle.

“(We) can’t do it alone. Please click on the link to donate at ricoswavey.com.”

Reality TV star, Alex Asogwa aka Alex Unusual, who had shared the news about the accident on her Twitter page on Tuesday, also called for donations.

  The  Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has assured investors of the safety of Alaigbo, noting that South-east region is big and safe to accommodate their investments. Disclosing  this in a statement on Tuesday, Emma Powerful, the groups spokesman, advised Igbo businessmen and women to bring back their investments before they regret it. Of  recent, Igbos in Lagos and other states complain of governments policies and host communities’ attitudes that affect their respective businesses.   The  Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced one Courage Ikpaka to two years imprisonment for duping a United States citizen, Mrs Yvelte M. Thompson of $53,000 by impersonating Nigerian musician, Chinedu Okoli popularly known as Flavour N’abania. Justice   Dehinde Dipeolu convicted Ikpaka on Tuesday following his guilty plea to a two-count charge brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Prosecution counsel, Suleiman Suleiman, led EFCC investigator Azibagiri Dan Ekpar in evidence against the defendant. The witness told the court that Ikpaka impersonated Flavour by pledging to organise shows in the United States of America and receiving payment through his Bitcoin wallets. Award-winning cinematographer and music producer, ThankGod Omori popularly known as TG Omori, has revealed that he had a failed kidney transplant after his brother donated to him to improve his kidney-related ailment. Nollywood  actress, Sharon Okpamen, has reportedly passed on after childbirth. The Nollywood community has been thrown into mourning since the news of her demise broke out on the internet.
