23-Year-Old American Model, Slick Woods Battles Stage-3 Melanoma Cancer

Slick Woods is undergoing chemotherapy just over a year after giving birth to her son, Saphir, in September 2018. The model who has appeared in campaigns for Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty announced Wednesday on Instagram that she was seeking treatment.
That same day, she told The Shade Room she is fighting for her life, as her stage 3 melanoma cancer is spreading. “How I feel about chemotherapy, shout out to everyone that gotta go through it #atleastimalreadybald,” the 23-year-old wrote on social media.
Despite her health issues, she refuses to be victimized by her circumstances. “Stop treating me like a victim,” she added. In September 2018, then-pregnant Woods went into labor immediately after walking the Savage X Fenty Fall/Winter 2018/2019 show.
Months before this, she confirmed to Elle UK that her baby’s father is Ivorian-Canadian model Adonis Bosso. “My son’s going to be gorgeoussss,” she told the publication. Sending love and positivity to Slick during this difficult time.

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has told the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to stay calm and steadfast as he continues efforts to secure his release. It was gathered that the governor visited the IPOB leader at the Sokoto Correctional Centre on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Ibom Air Bans Passenger For Life After Violent Assault On Crew And Security At Lagos Airport

Nigerian air carrier, Ibom Airlines Limited has banned a passenger identified as Comfort Emmanson, from flying with its airline after she was found assaulting one of the crew members of their aircraft. Emmanson had in a viral video repeatedly slapped a Purser with Ibom Aircraft after she was allegedly told to switch off her phone before take-off. Confirming the incident in a statement on Monday, Ibom Air said the incident happened on Sunday while Emmanson was on board their Uyo to Lagos flight. The statement read, “Shortly before take-off from Uyo, Ms. Emmanson was instructed in line with standard aviation safety procedures to switch off her mobile phone.
