South African Comedian, Bobo Beaten Up For Being Gay

An 18-year-old South African comedian identified as Bobo was left with bruises after he was beaten for being gay after a performance at DJ Bongs’ event in Durban, South Africa. Bobo who hit fame after his comedy videos went viral, almost lost his left eye after he mercilessly beaten by some men.
Bobo’s friend who shared the video on Facebook,said it was a hate crime assault which centred on his sexuality. In a video, the comedian is heard telling a friend that he would not bother reporting the matter to authorities.

Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
