Veteran Nollywood actor, Rykardo Agbor has survived a car accident in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, after his vehicle was badly damaged in the incident. Agbor announced the incident on Saturday in a video shared on his Instagram page, showing the extent of damage to his silver Lexus SUV.  It was also gathered that the crash occurred around the Cornerstone City billboard area in Ibadan. The vehicle sustained extensive damage to its front, including a crushed bonnet, smashed grille, exposed engine components and damage to the front-left tyre. In the video, Agbor identified the location as being in front of the Cornerstone City billboard in Ibadan. “This is my vehicle in front of Corner... Cornerstone City, Ibadan,” he said. The actor, who appeared to be at the scene of the crash, repeatedly thanked God for surviving the incident. “Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ. Nollywood crime thriller,  Black Market has broken the Guinness World Records for the largest attendance at a film screening in a single location, with more than 51,000 people watching the movie at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos. The record-breaking  screening took place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, as thousands of movie lovers gathered at the Lagos venue for the highly anticipated premiere. Guinness World Records confirmed the feat after the screening, officially recognising 51,000 viewers as the qualifying attendance for the record. Although  Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat announced that 64,000 people attended the event, Guinness World Records said the qualifying figure was based on viewers who remained from the beginning to the end of the movie. The announcement of the feat drew loud cheers, celebrations and fireworks from the crowd. Manchester United’s iconic Old Trafford stadium took on a different atmosphere on Saturday, September 26, 2026, as Nigerian pastor, Jerry Eze led worshippers in prayer during the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD) UK Prayer Conference. Nigerian Afrobeats star, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has revealed that the death of his mother was behind his recent break from music activities. Kizz Daniel, also known as Vado D’Great, explained that he stepped away from music following the loss, saying he had to keep moving for the rest of his family. The singer made the disclosure on Friday while responding to a fan on X (formerly Twitter) who had assumed that his absence was connected to preparations for a new album. A fan @VicroyDominion1, had tweeted, guessing that working on a new album had made the singer busy and prompted him to pause for a while. Kizz Daniel, however, responded; “I paused for my Mom not an album … Lost her this year, but I gotta keep moving for the rest of the family … sorry I came late this year,” he wrote. The Federal Government has evacuated 100 Nigerians from South Africa with funding from a $265,854 donation by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) for the purchase of one-way tickets for 500 distressed Nigerians seeking to return home over xenophobic and Afrophobic attacks. The Ministry of Foreign  Affairs disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, adding that another five returnees were evacuated with funding from a private Nigerian citizen, bringing the latest batch to 105 Nigerians. The returnees  comprising 82 adults and 23 children, arrived in Lagos aboard South African Airways Flight SA060 on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m. They were received by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other relevant Federal Government agencies. A woman who accused an American rapper, billionaire businessman and record executive, Shawn Corey Carter, popularly known as Jay-Z, of raping her when she was 13 has formally withdrawn the allegation, declaring that her claims against the music star were false. The woman, identified in court documents as Jane Doe, had filed a lawsuit in 2024 alleging that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs at a party following the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000. Both musicians denied the allegation, while the woman later dropped the lawsuit in February 2025. Jay-Z subsequently filed a lawsuit against the woman and her former lawyers, including attorney Tony Buzbee. In a declaration filed in that case on Thursday, the woman stated that Jay-Z had never raped her and that she had never met or spoken to him. “Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter never raped me. Manchester City was charged by the Premier League in 2023 following an investigation into alleged breaches between 2009 and 2018.
