[PHOTOS] Nollywood Actress, Omeche Oko Hospitalized After Movie Set Motorcycle Accident

Nollywood actress, Omeche Oko, has been hospitalized following a motorcycle accident that occurred while filming a movie scene.

The actress shared details of the incident in a video posted on her Instagram page on Wednesday, capturing moments from the film shoot, the crash, and her subsequent treatment at a hospital.

According to the footage, Oko was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle operated by fellow actor Victory Michael during the filming of a scene when the accident happened.

The situation took a dangerous turn after the motorcycle collided with a metal pole attached to a vehicle barrier at the filming location. The impact injured Michael and caused him to lose control of the motorcycle, throwing Oko to the ground.

Video clips from the aftermath showed crew members and fellow actors rushing to her aid as she cried out in pain before being transported to a hospital for urgent medical attention.

Additional scenes in the video showed the actress receiving treatment, including injections and other medical procedures to address injuries sustained during the crash.

Reflecting on the ordeal, Oko expressed gratitude for surviving what could have been a tragic incident and highlighted the risks actors often face while performing their craft.

“Life is very, very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said NO. If u see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is Thank You, God,” she wrote.

The incident sparked an outpouring of support from colleagues, fans and followers, many of whom flooded the comment section with prayers and messages of encouragement.

Reacting to the video, Instagram user xO_joannajordan wrote: “My God. What fuels your passion won’t cause you pain. Sending you prayers and love.”
