[PHOTOS] Body Of Late Nollywood Actor, Alex Ekubo Arrives Abia State For Burial

The family, friends, and colleagues gathered in Arochukwu village, Abia State, to receive the body of the late Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo, ahead of his burial.

The body of the late actor arrived in his hometown in a convoy, making a brief stop at the palace of the Eze Arochukwu before moving to his family compound.

Many residents and Nollywood celebrities walked in a procession through the village, wearing T-shirts bearing the late actor’s face and holding his photographs to honor his memory. Among the notable personalities present were his close friend IK Ogbonna, Ini Edo, Omoni Oboli, and Yomi Casual, who traveled down to pay their last respects.

The 40 year old actor passed away last month after a private battle with kidney cancer. He is survived by his wife, parents, and siblings.

Ibom Air Passenger Remanded In Prison

  Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air who had a fight with officials has been arraigned and remanded in custody.   A video of her in a flight inbound Lagos from Uyo has since gone viral.   The Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, who revealed this, said Emmanson has been remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility.   Moshood disclosed this in a post on X on Monday shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), said enforcement action will soon become more frequent in Nigerian airports as unruly conduct by passengers becomes rampant.
