[VIDEO] “Authorities Are In The Matter” – Pastor Chris Okafor Addresses Church Members Over Relationship Scandal With Doris Ogala

The founder and General Overseer of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries, widely known as Grace Nation International or Liberation City, Pastor Chris Okafor, has finally broken his silence over his ongoing relationship scandal with Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala.

It was earlier gathered that Doris Ogala was arrested at her residence on Saturday, December 20, 2025, during a Facebook Live session by the police after calling the clergy man out for failing to fulfill his marriage promise to her.

However, addressing his church members during his marriage thanksgiving on Sunday, Pastor Chris Okafor, in a trending video on social media said “He that alleges must prove.”

Okafor who claimed that God instructed him to be quiet over the matter, explained that “though it can be painful that you are misrepresented for what you are not, what you have never seen or known in your life. We leave it there for now. Thanks be unto the Lord

“We will never dignify a mad devil by replying. That would amount to glorifying the devil. Hear me and hear me well, since I grew up, I have known this man (God) as my father and nobody can tell me anything about him. I have known him as my father, and I know who he is. No outside knows my father more than I do.

“Why we do what we do, in the place of prayer, study, wait on the Lord, and go by the instructions of what he says we should do, there’s a law in this country that works, we follow the law. And the law is taking its cause. Everything you say to anybody, you must prove it in the law court. So, don’t worry, we are not quiet. We’re praying and we’re following the mature way we should follow. The truth will come out.

“Because the authorities are in the matter, I cannot say it in public. You will be surprised about people that are involved. I got reports, you will be surprised about people that are behind the scene, you will shout because it’s before the authority, I will not jeopardise the investigation and the court process that has ensued. He that alleged must prove”, he stated.

Recall Doris Ogala’s arrest sparked a debate among netizens including fellow celebrities.

Reacting to her arrest, Nigerian influencer and social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan has called for Doris Ogala’s release and threatened to release alleged criminal evidence against Pastor Chris Okafor and also Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin if she's not released on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
