American Model, Hailey Bieber Sells Her Beauty Brand For $1 Billion

Hailey Bieber, an American model and media personality and also the wife of the Canadian music superstar, Justin Bieber has announced the sale of her makeup brand, Rhode, for $1 billion to E.l.f Beauty.
 
The star made the announcement in a post on her Instagram story on Wednesday evening.
 
The post read: “E.I.f acquired Hailey Bieber’s Rhode in a $1 billion deal.”
 
E.l.f is said to have acquired Rhode for $800 million in cash and stock, with additional $200 million payout according to the company’s future sales performance.
 
While the deal is anticipated to close later in 2025, Hailey will remain as the CEO and head of innovation of the company, and also a strategic advisor at E.l.f.
 
Recall that Hailey co-founded Rhode in 2022.

Court Orders Nigerian Government To Serve Court Documents On Nnamdi Kanu Ahead Of Trial

  The Federal High Court in Abuja has given an order to the Federal Government.   It ordered the Federal Government to always serve Biafra agitator, Nnamdi Kanu with documents and materials intended to be submitted as exhibits before they are tendered in court.   Justice James Omotosho said such documents and materials must be front loaded and be made available to the defendant as required by law so as not to catch him unawares in the defense of terrorism charges filed against him.   The judge issued the order on Tuesday during the resumption of Kanu’s trial on terrorism charges.   Issues arose when the second prosecution witness (PW2), codenamed as PWBBB, testified that he was assigned by the Attorney General of the Federation to investigate Kanu.   He described Kanu as the operator of Radio Biafra and the founder of the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
