“The Leaked Sex Video Of Mine Was Shared Without My Consent, Will Be Treated With Legal Action” – Moyo Lawal

Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal has finally reacted to the now-viral video of her which was leaked online on Saturday.

The video which shows the actress engaging in a sexual act with a person, now revealed to be her ex-fiance, has since got many talking online with the majority claiming that the ‘A Time To Heal’ actress leaked the tape herself.

Taking to her Instagram page on Sunday, Lawal first confirmed she was the person in the tape before debunking rumours that she authorized the distribution of the said tape.

“A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust,” her statement began.

“I want to emphasize that this video was done with my ex whom I was to marry at that time, was never intended for public consumption and its unauthorized distribution is a breach of my boundaries.  However this criminal breach of privacy will be treated with legal action,” the statement read.

  A  new experimental brain implantation device, Blindsight, designed to restore vision has been awarded the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) ‘breakthrough device’ designation. The device was created by Elon Musk’s brain chip company, Neuralink, which specialises in developing a brain-chip interface that can be implanted within the skull. A  federal lawmaker representing the Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency in Edo State, Prince Henry Odianosen Okojie has reportedly escaped an assassination attempt. Okojie, the husband of the Nollywood movie Star, Mercy Johnson, was reportedly attacked by armed men suspected to be political thugs at his residence in Uromi on Friday morning.   The  Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced one Courage Ikpaka to two years imprisonment for duping a United States citizen, Mrs Yvelte M. Thompson of $53,000 by impersonating Nigerian musician, Chinedu Okoli popularly known as Flavour N’abania. Justice   Dehinde Dipeolu convicted Ikpaka on Tuesday following his guilty plea to a two-count charge brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Prosecution counsel, Suleiman Suleiman, led EFCC investigator Azibagiri Dan Ekpar in evidence against the defendant. The witness told the court that Ikpaka impersonated Flavour by pledging to organise shows in the United States of America and receiving payment through his Bitcoin wallets.   A Nigerian nurse, identified as Ruth Auta has been sentenced to three years in jail for causing the death of her ten-week-old baby. The nurse was sentenced by Bolton Crown Court in the UK. It was gathered that the Nigerian woman left the deceased baby Joshua Akerele in her nurse's accommodation for eight hours so she could work her shift on December 20, 2022. The nurse was said to be a single mother, aged 28. When she returned to her room, she found Joshua lifeless in his cot and dialled 999, telling operators her son was not breathing. Akerele was later confirmed dead an hour later with tests showing he may have 'overheated' due to the layers of clothing and bedding he was wrapped in.
