Former US President, Donald Trump Arrested Over Criminal Charges

Former US President, Donald Trump has been arrested on Tuesday and in police custody ahead of his upcoming arraignment.

Trump faces charges over hush money payments made to a porn actress just ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

This is the first time in history that a former American president is facing criminal charges.

Trump did not wear handcuffs, but will have his fingerprints taken. It is unclear whether his mugshot will be taken.

On Monday, a judge had ruled to bar news outlets from broadcasting the arraignment. However, details of the charges are expected to be revealed in the coming hours.

Trump is expected to face more than 30-count charges related to business fraud as part of a probe into the $130,000 payout to Stormy Daniels, the adult actress, in an attempt to buy her silence over an alleged affair.

Court Orders Nigerian Government To Serve Court Documents On Nnamdi Kanu Ahead Of Trial

  The Federal High Court in Abuja has given an order to the Federal Government.   It ordered the Federal Government to always serve Biafra agitator, Nnamdi Kanu with documents and materials intended to be submitted as exhibits before they are tendered in court.   Justice James Omotosho said such documents and materials must be front loaded and be made available to the defendant as required by law so as not to catch him unawares in the defense of terrorism charges filed against him.   The judge issued the order on Tuesday during the resumption of Kanu’s trial on terrorism charges.   Issues arose when the second prosecution witness (PW2), codenamed as PWBBB, testified that he was assigned by the Attorney General of the Federation to investigate Kanu.   He described Kanu as the operator of Radio Biafra and the founder of the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
