Late Indian Rapper, Sidhu’s Collaboration With Burna Boy Still Trending On YouTube 3 Days After Release

Three days after its release, Indian rapper, Sidhu Moose Wala’s posthumous song ‘Mera Na’ featuring the Grammy-Award winning Nigerian music star, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy continues to go viral. The music video, directed by Navkaran Brar, has gone viral on YouTube, garnering over 14.9 million views within 24 hours. As of the time of writing, the video has about 21 million views on YouTube and is the number 10 trending video on the platform.

Sidhu’s legacy indeed continues to live on legacy lives on ‘Mera Na.’ Despite his untimely death on May 29, 2022, his music has become a source of inspiration for many, and his collaboration with Burna Boy has brought his legacy to a wider audience.

With Burna Boy and Steel Banglez adding their magic to the song, ‘Mera Na’ has become a unifying force, transcending boundaries and cultures.

Burna Boy, who had expressed his desire to collaborate with Sidhu before his death, has hailed the fans for their overwhelming support and expressed his honour to be part of Sidhu’s legacy. The music video is a reminder of the incredible impact Sidhu had on the music industry and how he continues to inspire even after his passing.

The music video also features a snippet of Canadian rapper Drake wearing a T-shirt with Sidhu’s portrait printed on it – a testament to the late rapper’s enduring influence.

Bobrisky Falls Ill In Police Custody, Rushed To Hospital

  Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky, has reportedly fallen ill while in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos. After spending the night in a police cell, Bobrisky was rushed to Falomo Police Hospital for medical attention. A source confirmed the development, stating that he was transferred from the FCID to the hospital for treatment. The source said,  “Bobrisky complained of ‘breast’ pain and was rushed to the Police Hospital in the Falomo area of Lagos around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance with the plate number LND 339L. He wore a black gown, covered his face with a shawl, and lay down in the ambulance.” Bobrisky was taken into custody on Monday night by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) following his arrest at the Seme border in Lagos during an alleged attempt to leave the country.   The  Magistrates' Court in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, denied bail to prominent broadcast journalist Chinonso Uba, popularly known as Nonso Nkwa, and ordered him to be remanded at the Owerri Correctional Centre on Wednesday. Uba was arraigned before the Chief Magistrate, His Worship Adikaibe, on five counts preferred against him by N.S. Onwochie, Legal Prosecution Officer, Owerri, Imo State on behalf of the state police commissioner. The five counts include conspiracy, treason and arson.   The government of Equatorial Guinea has dismissed Baltasar Ebang Engonga as Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) after a series of over 400 sex tapes involving him and multiple women surfaced online.   A  shooting spree in Awka, Anambra State capital on Thursday morning, has claimed several lives. One of the sources, a student, said the shooting happened in Ifite Awka, at approximately 9:15 a.m., leaving several people dead.   Tragedy  unfolded in Nibo, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State on Sunday, as a violent attack by masked gunmen resulted in multiple fatalities during the Onwa Asaa festival, a traditional community celebration.
