Cameron Boyce has been cremated, nearly two weeks after his devastating death.  The Disney actor  died in his sleep on July 6 after suffering a seizure. He was 20.  According to a death certificate obtained by ET, Boyce was cremated, and his ashes are now with his father, Victor Boyce.  The news comes after Victor announced on Monday that the family was launching a foundation in honor of his son.  “The Cameron Boyce Foundation. Retweet retweet retweet!!!!!!,” Victor tweeted, along with the link to the foundation’s website. “Let’s not talk about it, let’s BE about it! Let’s do good as Cameron would. Let’s keep his legacy alive!”  According to the site,  the foundation will help provide young people with “artistic and creative outlets as alternatives to violence and negativity and uses resources and philanthropy for positive change in the world." A Nigerian suspected to be a member of an international drug cartel has been arrested by India’s Anti-Narcotics Cell in Mumbai with cocaine worth USD171,000 (equivalent of N61.5 million).  The 35 year-old Nigerian identified as Bonaventure Nzubechukwu Nwude was arrested on Monday night, after he received the cocaine parcel from a Mozambican in Delhi. The seized cocaine is ’96 per cent pure”, according to a police spokesman, Shivdeep Lande.  “This drug cartel is being run from African countries whose members used to visit India to deliver the contrabands. They hide the drug capsules in their abdomen by swallowing them”, Lande said.  Nwude who had visited India in 2002 and 2004, was scheduled to leave for Taiwan from Mumbai.

Some utterly tragic news is reaching us on Monday night: It’s been reported that a former Bafana Bafana s tar Marc Batchelor has been mercilessly gunned down while driving to Olivedale, with some sources claiming it was a suspected hit. The SA Police Service (SAPS) did not name the victim until a few hours after the incident. As of 21:15 on Monday, police officers were still investigating the crime scene and trying to determine how this cold-blooded killing played out. A Nigerian born Binghamton University basketball player, Calistus Anyichie has died after drowning at Buttermilk Falls State Park near Ithaca, New York.  According to a statement from the university, the 19-year-old entering his sophomore year at the university, drowned on Sunday. Anyichie was a member of the men’s basketball team and was majoring in political science. Anyichie’s body was found at the base of a 15-foot bank, after crews responded to the drowning at the 300 block of West King Road at upper Buttermilk Falls State Park at around 5 p.m.  He had attended St. Mary-Assumption High School, where he played basketball for three years, was the team captain and was also selected all-conference as a senior.  “There are no words. Nollywood actor, Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie popularly known as Yul Edochie  has taken to his Instagram page to reveal that he is back in Lagos after his long stay in the East to get treated after surviving a ghastly Auto accident some weeks back. Recall that some weeks ago, the actor cum politician revealed that he survived a ghastly Auto accident on the Benin-Ore e xpressway on his way to the East.  Weeks later, Yul Edochie says, he will be missing from work for a while as he is taking off time to treat backache caused by the accident he was involved in recently. An American rapper whose name is DeAndre Cortez Way popularly known as Soulja Boy has been released from jail nearly five months early after spending a little over 90 days behind bars for violating probation. The “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” rapper was freed just before 2 a.m. local time on Sunday from Van Nuys jail in Los Angeles where he’d been since April 11, due to expiration, online records show. Soulja Boy, 28, was initially sentenced to 240 days but he served 94 days and was released due to a combination of good behavior, time served and overcrowding. The rapper’s legal woes began in 2014 when he was arrested on charges of carrying a loaded gun in public.
