A civil lawsuit alleging that rappers, Jay-Z and Diddy raped a 13-year-old girl at a New York party in 2000 has been withdrawn by the accuser.

According to documents filed by the plaintiff in federal court in New York on Friday, the lawsuit was “voluntarily dismissed with prejudice.”

Reacting to the dismissal, Jay-Z described it as a victory for those falsely accused.

“Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious, and appalling allegations have been dismissed,” Jay-Z said in a statement posted on his company Roc Nation’s social media page.

“The trauma my wife, my children, and my loved ones have endured can never be dismissed.”

 A 42-year-old Nigerian national has been arrested for the alleged murder of his Spanish wife, Catalina, 48, in Benalmádena, a town in Costa del Sol, Spain.   The Nigerian identified as Augustine also set fire to the family home, where the victim lived with the couple's three children - all minors - and another son from a previous relationship. The incident happened at around 5.25am this Sunday morning, 9 February. 2025. Arnoldo Jimenez, a fugitive on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list for allegedly killing his wife, Estrella Carrera, on their wedding night in Illinois over 12 years ago, has been arrested in Mexico.
